In this podcast episode, I discuss my belief that happiness is found in the little moments throughout life, rather than in achieving big goals or milestones. I argue that we live in a constant state of contentment, and it's important to recognize and appreciate the small joys in our everyday experiences.
I also explain the four levels of happiness, which include pleasure, passion, purpose, and meaning. Pleasure refers to the immediate gratification of our desires, while passion involves pursuing activities that bring us joy and fulfillment. Purpose is the sense of meaning we derive from contributing to something larger than ourselves, and meaning is the deeper understanding we gain from reflecting on our experiences and connecting with others.
Additionally, I discuss the five elements of well-being, which include positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning, and accomplishment. I explain how each of these elements contributes to our overall well-being and happiness, and provide tips for cultivating each one in our daily lives.
Overall, this podcast encourages listeners to find happiness in the present moment and to appreciate the small joys in life, while also striving for greater fulfillment and purpose through meaningful connections and pursuits.
